Fall Hiking Trails

by Kayla

You can feel it, fall is in the air. It’s hard not to fall in love with all of the beautiful colors of nature that happen this time of year. We have also started to have some cooler temperatures which makes hanging out in the outdoors a little more inviting for some people. There are a handful of places in our area that allow us to take in the beautiful scenery and also allow us to reap the benefits of being active in the outdoors and taking in that crisp fall air.

Check out these locations below and pick one (or more) that you would like to try out this Fall!

  1. Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area – Menomonie, WI
  2. Otter Creek Park – Altoona, WI
  3. Tower Ridge Recreational Area – Eau Claire, WI
  4. Lowes Creek County Park – Eau Claire, WI
  5. Ice Age Trail – Chippewa County, WI (Kayla’s Favorite!)
