Snow Eyes

by Megan

The other morning I got up to run outside and the weather was perfect; mid-twenties and clear, no problem (or so I thought!). Three fourths of the way through my run though, a few snowflakes started to come down. Not even three minutes later I was in a winter wonderland! While this doesn’t usually bother me (in fact, I find it really quite beautiful that early when it’s just you and the snow) but those snowflakes became quite irritating. It’s like they had a mind of their own and were trying to fly right into my eyes! Trying to look ahead meant only one eye open at a time - camera one, camera two. What I could have used right then were these sweet glasses from a Saved by the Bell episode:

Unfortunately, I didn’t have them. So I’m asking for your help readers! What do you use if you’re out on a run and it starts raining or snowing? I don’t think sunglasses would help because it was already dark and I didn’t want to add tripping on the sidewalk to my run. I haven’t run in a hat so I’m not sure if that would have helped or not. Please give me your suggestions; I’d really like to be able to see where I’m running!
