Winter Workout: Indoor HIIT

by Shelby
The super cold temperatures we’ve been hit with make it difficult to get outside to exercise. However, there are many indoor workout options to choose from to get your daily exercise accomplished! One of my favorite options is a fast-paced, HIIT. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. During HIIT, each exercise is done for 45-60 seconds then you rest for 15-20 seconds in between exercises. The idea is to work as hard as possible during each exercise then using the rest time to recover.

For this workout, each move will be done for 45 seconds and rests will be 15 seconds.

Warm Up

30 seconds each
1. Butt kicks
2. High knees-- run or march in place
