Winter Activities That Don’t Include Food!

It’s mid-January, you are working on your wellness goals with determination and you feel confident that you can keep up with your healthy eating habits.  It seems easy enough, eat food, mostly plants, not too much.  But soon, you start to realize that everything we do these days somehow revolves around food!! Well I am here to provide you with a list of fun things you and the family can do that does not include food!

Go for a chilly walk-get everyone bundled up and walk around the block! Better yet, head to a local trail where there will be wildlife and most likely the trail will be plowed and salted!

Find a fun craft to do- Find a craft on Pinterest that everyone can do! Sure there might be a bit of a mess, but you will have a blast getting everyone together for some fun. 

Go bowling! - enough said! This gets everyone out of the house and active! Friendly competition can be fun!

Start your spring cleaning list now- You are cooped up inside, might as start that pesky list!

Ice skating-Get the family together for a fun trip to the skating rink.

Create your meal plan for the week- Meal planning can be fun if you make the time to plan healthy and flavorful meals that everyone will love.  Check blogs or Pinterest for fun ideas!
