Here's a round up of a few things that are keeping me happy and healthy while living through this crazy pandemic.
Carrots ‘N’ Cake Meal Prep Protein Bowls
I love an easy meal that I can whip up in a few minutes or one that I can prepare in large quantities, so I have options all week. Tina, a healthy lifestyle blogger writes her blog Carrots ‘N’ Cake
has an easy list of healthy, and quick meals that are high in protein and can all be prepped ahead of time if needed. Check her out!
Calm Music 2020 Spotify Playlist
I listen to a lot of upbeat loud music most of the time, but every now and then I find myself craving some calming music when I am cooking or relaxing. I came across this playlist
recently and it is the perfect mix of calm but still upbeat, so you do not fall asleep!
Watching the news or checking my social media accounts has become more and more difficult recently. News headlines are scary, people are arguing, and there seems to be a lot of chaos. I do love all the positivity out there right now, but I have found that putting my phone in a separate room has been helpful with my attitude. I still check it every few hours when I am home in case someone needs me, but not having it near me makes it so much less tempting to scroll newsfeeds and thus, keeps me in a good mood!
I have talked about Dave Ramsey
before, and I believe now, more than ever, we can see just how important working on financial wellness is. Check out his website for details on the Baby Step plan or listen to his podcast!
Everyone seems to be in a spring-cleaning frenzy with nowhere to go and nothing to do! That means there are plenty of free items just waiting to be restored to their former glory. I have been skimming Facebook marketplace for free items that I can refurbish and make beautiful again. Or if you do not want new things or projects, put your unwanted, gently used items on Marketplace. It is a win-win for all!
