Apple Cider BBQ Turkey Meatballs

by Sarah
Are you looking for an appetizer to bring to an upcoming gathering, or something new to try at home? Well look no further than this easy-to-make turkey meatball recipe! This recipe idea can be used year-round and is super tasty. What I love the most about it is that it is only three ingredients and can be made using a slow cooker or roaster!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen turkey meatballs
  • 1/2 cup sugar free apple cider
  • 1/2 cup Annie BBQ Sauce (This has less sugar than most other BBQ sauces and can be found in the organic section.)
There is no need to thaw the meatballs. Mix the apple cider and BBQ sauce together. Then place all the ingredients in a slow cooker or roaster on low for 4 hours until heated through. Five of these meatballs is about 210 calories, 20 grams of protein, and only 3 grams of sugar. All the yum without the guilt!

Enjoy!
